This 8 week programme is aimed at helping those living with long term health conditions to manage the psychological impact that this can have. Feelings of anxiety, frustration, low mood and isolation can be common experiences when living with a long term condition; this course explores ways in which you can live a valued and meaningful life despite your long term condition.
The programme encourages you to develop skills to manage your life to the best of your ability through focusing on areas such as:
- your values and what is meaningful to you
- difficulties communicating with family, friends and colleagues
- managing unhelpful thoughts, emotions and behaviours
We also offer a range of options specific to breathlessness, diabetes and heart conditions.
