Improving self confidence

The main aim of this 12-week group is to help group members understand problems of low self-confidence and to teach them techniques to help improve their self-confidence and self-esteem.

The group uses a CBT approach based on Melanie Fennell’s model of low self-esteem. We recommend purchasing the 3 part ‘Overcoming Low self-esteem workbook’ ahead of the sessions to get the most out of the group course.

The group involves you learning skills such as problem solving and assertiveness and you will be expected to complete tasks in between sessions so there is a commitment of time and effort.
